The March
Today,
I carry a placard.
I wear a T-shirt,
I shout a message,
I walk down the road.
Today,
I carry a good feeling in my heart.
I wear my pride on my sleeve,
I shout as a united voice,
I walk towards change.
Today,
I carry the need for a difference to be made.
I wear a face of compassion,
I shout so i will be heard,
I walk for equality.
Today,
I carry the weight of the world.
I wear this message so that all may see it,
I shout for unity, for all religions, colours, genders, sexualities,
I walk with hope in my heart and peace in my soul,
For a better tomorrow
