What We've Been Upto

During the last three months, the YEP have attended some very interesting events and training sessions. YEPS attended Gangology and Weapons awareness training to enhance and equip them with the tools and knowledge to run workshops at various schools that are at risk, being able to work with youngsters of all ages.

The YEP also attended events such as Stop and Account to share their opinion on whether this should stop or continue; the Community Peace March, where YEPS marched and delivered conflict and weapons workshops in Art zone as part of the community day and a university event at Ponders End Youth Centre, which encouraged young people to sign up to courses.

The YEP also took part in ASB (Anti-social behaviour) surgeries with Enfield Homes; spoke to year six pupils about personal safety during Junior Citizens at Oasis Academy Enfield and showed support after the death of Negus McClean by helping out at Youth Centres and talking to young people in Enfield Town and Edmonton Green about how they felt.
